Description

I like to look for light, shadow, and contrast in nature. Parry's Agave are amazing plants -- especially when they prepare to bloom. The plant uses up all its energy to sprout a single large stalk with a tiered grouping of flowers -- and then the plant dies. In this capture, the buds are beginning to emerge from the giant stalk.
